Simon was fantastic. Really liked him and he understood Nemo straight away - did a lot of practicing on trying to stop between jumps which was very helpful !!! Can't wait for him to come again- Alex ( Head girl) came to watch as yard was done and thought he was brilliant too.

Simon is an empathetic trainer for both horse and rider. He's great at bridging the gap between us both, that's me and my hunter, and trains us on the stuff that is relevant to performing in our discipline. It's also very useful to see him on the horse, he's not one of those trainers that just talks the talk, he get's in the saddle and demonstrates what's required for both horse and rider. A wise old owl, who is used to managing a vast range of levels of competence, both real and imagined.
The good thing after seeing Simon we both go home feeling ready for the next adventure.

I greatly value my lessons with Simon. I have gained so much confidence. Simon is a very skilful rider and trainer. He always inspires me to work hard and improve. He takes special care to provide clear explanations in support of his instructions during the lesson, in answering any questions and in summing up at the conclusion. I am sad that you have not been able to do clinics at the Paddock Riding Club lately. I pray that one day soon you will be back and I can ride with you again.
